The guys are right My1st,IF you have to get the scrapyard exhaust look it over
very carefully, even if it looks ok on the outside you don't know if water is trapped and rusting from the inside out...check it out very well before you invest. There's nearly no such thing as lifting safely in a junkyard but I've pulled quite a few jacks out of trunks and tossed plenty of spare tires underneath to safely grab some junkyard gold....just don't trust the jack ...Honestly though,if the Durango you're looking at is actually on the ground as described the exhaust system is probably damaged somehow....look on ebay, check Rock Auto or J.C.Whitney (online) you'll find a reasonably priced exhaust for your Durango, without risking your wallet or health...
P.S. (Off Topic) I'm very sorry to hear about your wives health guys...I've been through it myself and know the toll it can take....you have my
sympothy's and best wishes

And My1stDurango sorry to hear that. My woman has been in and out of specialists for diagnostics for the past three months trying to figure out what is wrong with her. The bills can add up quick. Unfortunately she's to the point where she almost can't work anymore. May be some pretty hard times ahead for me too.

As long as you jack on the frame and hitch you should be good, but shrps did bring up a good point about the rust since it has been sitting on the ground, if it hasn't been that long you are better off. Just give it a real good check over, including the top of the tubing.
