1998 durango a/c issue
Hello I have a 1998 Durango slt with rear overhead AC. My issue is I turn on AC compressor engages for approximately 2 min then begains to cycle off and on at this point compressor runs for 4-5 seconds system has a full charge has had vacuum pulled on it condenser is new evaporator is new front expansion. valve is new compressor is new pressure switches and clutch cycling switch are -new dnt know what to do with this problem. When compressor. Is engaged the pressure low side runs about 32. And high side about 115-125

For the heck of it, if the compressor is on its own relay pull the relay and jump the relay with a jumper wire and see if it still acts up. I'm wondering if the AC relay is heating up and acting up. Hope this helps you out.

Sounds like you are a bit low on Freon as the high side seams kind of low to me but what is the outside temp that changes things.
Remember to check the gages you need above Idle not just Idle I stick a thick piece of paper between the idle points to bring idle up a bit.
