Default 99 Durango

I have a 99 Durango that is idling a little rough and randomly shuts down like all the life has been ripped out of it. The check engine does not come on at any time and I am wondering if anyone can help with a place to start. thanks.

A weak battery/bad connections could cause that, as could the IAC valve on the back of the throttle body. I'd clean the battery terminals & posts first since that's the easiest (and free).

The battery and alternator checked good and I replaced the IAC valve. What is the ASD relay?

just bc the battery checked good does not mean that it IS good on these trucks, they are alot more sensitive than the battery testers.
