Default My Durango Resurrection Thread

Hey guys I know its been awhile since I was active but school is killing me. Well a couple weeks ago we had our first ice and snow. This is pictures of the accident after it happened. This guy stopped at the bottom of an icy hill cause he slid past his turn despite that he saw me coming. From the crest to where I hit him is less than 1/4 mile and he had his signal on until I was less than an 1/8th mile away. He then moved to the right so I tried to go left but he stopped and as you can see by the damage I couldn't quite get over. We both walked away unscathed. This thread is gonna be dedicated to the resurrection of my baby that saved me lots of injury. Oh yeah, I now fully support seat belts even more than before, same with air bags.

Looks like that custom bumper helped you out a bit. Glad to see everyone's ok.

Thanks guys. The bumper helped out a lot. I'll take a picture but the drivers side fender and headlight are fine. The kc light on the passenger side survive as well. All in all not to bad. I don't know how much frame rack time its gonna need yet but one of my best friends dad does it for a living and my friend is an excellent painter, that will help a lot. Also going to look at a 98 with a bad motor next weekend.

Well now that its not frozen anymore and I got a parts durango I'll finally get going on this thread and project. I'll let you guys know what's up with the frame when I get that bumper off.

Today is the official start of this project, I got the bumper off and spare tire on. Now I have to get a good friends dad over who does frame alignment to get his professional opinion but to me I had expected worse.

So as long as I'm resurrecting a Durango, why not ressurect another? This is Shelby #0192, last night when we got it home we drained about 1 gallon of coolant with the oil. It is hydrolocked as well.
