Default Brake light and abs kick on an off

So ive got a 98 dodge durango 5.2L and the abs and break lights kick on and off. i have replaced front only pads, routers and calipers. today when i came to a stop it made a weird noise defiantly came from the break system i could feel it in the peddle. i didnt looses break pressure that i could tell and the breaks did work. I would prefer not to have to change both the break booster and the master cylinder just to find out its not that. i hate driving and not knowing if its just going to fail to stop one day. ive had the car on a code reader and no codes came up. where do i start now?

ABS module is cycling, could be a bad module, bad abs wheel hub sensors, or trans speed sensor. If you changed calipers you could have gotten air in the abs unit which needs to be bled with a drb scan tool pretty much only found at a dealership. Constant cycling likely abs module, it was for me anyway. Tried a rebuild service and they couldn't get it right so I bought one off ebay used for around $100. It is my understanding abs modules are programmed for the specific vehicle specs so you may need that drb tool again. I just bought one with exact matching numbers and it worked and that was good enough for me.

Check the wheel hub abs connections. Pop both of them off clean them out and reconnect them. Thats what happened with my D and abs problems. One loose plug.

Wow, to be honest I have never seen something like that. I mean, abs module getting burned out, that is not what you get to see everyday.

Hate to be a hitchhiker on this thread,
I was curious if this issue would always be an abs module or just a wheel sensor?
My abs and brake light come on, but only after driving a couple minutes. it stays on after that until I shut off the vehicle, and then it starts all over again.

Checked the ODB, no codes being thrown when the lights show up or when the vehicle is off. I am thinking its a speed sensor, when the warning lights pop up, my cruise control will not engage.
HOw does one test Abs sensors or speed sensors?

Need a scanner that can read live data. There are three of four wheel speed sensors, and a selection of switches that could be the problem.
