What size tension band clamps for heater hose & heater core?
The worm gear hose clamps I'm using after I replaced the heater core are constantly backing out, dripping antifreeze on coil #3 and causing a short (I lost two clamps during the rebuild)
I bought these but they are too small:
What is the right size? Thanks.

In case the link expires, it's Mopar part 6502017
24x15 constant tension clamps for 5/8" hose.

They didn't. That was the first thing I tried.
I just bought the 15. I could replace the old ones and use them to secure my crankcase vent hoses which are loose.

Might be a dumb question but why not just get those screw-hose clamps? I use them on everything and super cheap. Along with easier to replace/remove.

Screw clamps can cause issues. They're okay when used on metal pipes but never use them with plastic, such as the radiator top and bottom hoses on most cars. The spring clamps will expand and contract with heat expansion... a screw clamp won't. Eventually the screw clamp will cause the plastic to crack or disintegrate. I've personally experienced that on a few cars, till I learned.
That makes sense to me, my apologies. The only reason I ask is because Iv used them for practically everything on my vehicles. On my 11’ GM and now this 01 Durango. Haven’t had an issue yet.. but you are right. Something can and will eventually happen.
