I have had an issue with my front driver hub it was sounding like metal grinding so I replaced with a new unit. I drove truck around the block to test it out and grinding noise is gone but there is a sreeching noise. I took back the hub and got a different one after installing with plenty of grease I went for another test drive and it seemed as though the noise had gone but just before i got home it came back and is louder than ever. if anyone has any idea what this could be please let me know.

 

Wear sensors on the brake pads?

 

I think the pads are in goo shape but I will take another look.
