Ok. So my tie rod end cv axle and bearing hub assembly is replaced first Thing I did was the hub assembly. The grinding noise came back shortly after. Popped off my diff case and filled with fresh gear oil and it stopped for a while then came back. I'm at a loss HELP. Its intermittent which is confusing.driver side.
I dont have a long toue wrench but i have a feel for high torque and ive got to be pretty close
That's a pretty critical spec though. That nut, and the axle, are what holds the bearings together. Too much, or not enough, and the bearing life will be shortened dramatically. Should be able to rent a torque wrench from you local parts store.....
