Default Bypass PCM

It's simple, My pcm is most likely the culprit, and I can't afford a used one. How can I bypass the pcm?
how can I wire the injectors so they spray a set amt at the correct piston position at engine start, idle, acceleration and deceleration? I'm not concerned abt hp or all the spray corrections per atmospheric changes provided by the pcm, since after extensive research, it seems that the pcm is the Durango's ONE fault. How do I wire the ignition system so it fires on the correct piston at key start ignition and in the correct sequence after that and in reaction to acceleration?

You're not, but you could old school the distributor, manifold, press reg and carb.

Tshep is right, you have to go carb, but then how is the trans going to be controlled?

You would spend more trying to bypass the PCM, than you would if you simply replaced it. Most parts stores can get 'em for under 300 bucks..... You are not going to be able to eliminate the PCM for less than that.

yea the PCM controls EVERYTHING, in order to get rid of it youd have to swap to a carberated motor. . . . . .

It turns over but won't start. I've replaced the TPS, CKS, the ignition coil and the fuel pump.
I've recently learned about mechanical fuel injectors, and I'm considering wiring the CKS and TPS to switches, because that's basically what computers are, a series of interconnected switches.

That's what you're talking about, right? I've seen them as low as $60.00. Brand new, they're at least $600 from Rock Auto.

Check the pick n pull yards for a similar year/engine combination that you have. Roommate swapped a PCM off a '99 5.2 Durango (think it was 99) in to his '99 5.9 Durango and its been running fine.

There are still the basics...
We need to hear:
I tried X and see spark or not,
I tried Y and see fuel spray or not,
etc.
