Default 4 prong pcm 3 prong pcm swap

So I have a 2003 Durango sxt 4.7 Great shape, blown motor. I also have a 2001 Durango 4.7 body is smoked, motor is great. Problem is the 03 has 4 prong pcm which leads me to believe it’s a 32 tooth. And the 01 is 3 prong pcm so I’m sure it’s a 16 tooth. Can I just swap the PCMs so I don’t have to tear into the motor?

Would have to swap the wiring harness as well, and I am not even sure the PCMs use the same communication protocol.... which would mean swapping everything inside as well.

Possibly everything electronic, inside, and out....... I think the two systems are completely different, and not compatible with each other. It would probably be easier/cheaper just to find the correct motor.....
