Default 03 Durango ABS light on

Hello, ABS and brake light are on, My scan tool is an Innova 3100j for ABS codes and it's showing a code 28 but it does not have a definition for that code. Company is no help and dealer wants to charge to read the code. Anybody have a list of ABS codes for Dodges? Thanks

I *think* it's for a rear wheel speed sensor. How many do you have??

everything works fine just the dash lights are on steady throwing the code 28. I've searched the internet for a list of Dodge specific ABS codes but nothing comes up. Looks like Dodge is just two numbers for their codes while GM is a 4 digit code starting with a C. You can find those codes anywhere on the internet. Strange for Dodge to be absent.

Yeah, I couldn't find a listing for them either..... One would think there would be something in the service manual, but, I don't have one. Might be a good idea to grab a copy. You can generally find digital versions for 20 or 30 bucks.

Its most likely the ABS module. Check you ground connection near the driver side next the hood spring. Do you know if you have 4 wheel ABS or 2 Wheel ABS system? If the problem is the module. You will need to have the dealer to use the DRB3 to program the module. For the pinion factor along with tire size.
