Which code? Cam sensor is only used at startup... computer doesn't need it once the engine is running. If you aren't getting spark, that would be coil, or crank sensor.
More than one problem then...... The cam sensor just tells the PCM where in the firing order it is, crank sensor tells the PCM when to trigger the coil. It was would be EXTREMELY are for both to fail at the same time though.

forgive me for asking but how is this more than 1 problem. P0340 is the Cam error. What I am missing? if the cam censor is not working would the PCM not know when to fire? Als like you said the cam censor is needed at start and it ran until it stopped and wouldn't start afterwords.
Cam sensor is only for injector timing. Has nothing to do with ignition. If you aren't getting spark, first thing to do is put a noid light on the coil connector (test light would probably work....) and see if the PCM is even attempting to control the coil.
George, I had an issue that was exactly like you and bought one from O'Reilly's and it drove me crazy. I replaced the crank sensor, cap, rotor etc. I finally got some advice on here and the guy said to get a genuine Mopar cam sensor. I did and it fired right up. Took the other one back to O'Reilly's for a refund. Get a Mopar one and I bet your problems are over.
