Your oil pressure should be about 40psi at idle at operating temp, after reading some more about the info you gave, your idle shouldn't be at 400-450rpm at operating temp. It should be about 750rpm for the 5.2l.... My Durango did this periodically and there's an easy cheap thing you can do to narrow down the problem. It's very common for the iac sensor(idle air control) to get gunked up with carbon buildup. It's on the throttle body, not to hard to get to, remove the air intake tube from the throttle body, it's on the back side attached by 2 Star bit screws, unplug it, remove the screws and wiggle it out and then take some parts cleaner or brake clean and spray it on the tip to clean the carbon off. Then reinstall. If that fixes the low idle, then it should bring your oil pressure back up to where it should be and then that was your problem. You can replace the sensor for bout $25usd if I remember right, if you want to or just wait till it does it again before replacing it, if you don't have the funds at the moment.....i replaced mine bout 6yrs ago, hasn't done it since. The 5.2l was the most reliable v8 Dodge made, not many major issues with them if you kept up on maintenance. That's the first thing I check when I encounter low RPM with low oil pressure on a 5.2 and prolly bout 90% of the time, it's that iac sensor

Should clean the IAC well too...... It seems to enjoy collecting assorted gunk.....
