No, 3.9L. Have had no major issues with this engine. It's always the sensors.

This thread is for TPS conditions and not any other issues like rear end shimmy's and diff work.

Back on topic!

Is Hydrashocker the internet police or does he purposefully want all to hate him equally? The differential references were to clear up an incorrect billing statement I made in earlier post and the flack for supposedly overpaying. Go back and read carefully, then take note of your own prior off-subject remarks. The subject is still TPS and surge.

Internet police........LOL

Dude, this thread was put here for people like you to find us and fix your issues. Your post has a very small validity considering this is a DIY thread and not a discussion thread. People want answers to questions and don't wanna jump through hoops including useless posts like this one right here to find the answer to their questions.

As for a newbie with a 5 post count, I simply don't care if you like me or not, friends like me here because myself and a few others built this section from scratch and maybe we know a thing or two and came here to help people. Remember, you came to us.

OK, not the police, but don't we dare step on the toes of Hydra..dick, the OG of this very, very important thread. Dick, I used this page as designed - to diagnose a symptom in my Dakota. Go home, play hula-hoops and relax. It's your self professed, self infatuated perceived ownership of dodgeforum that has caused your jock itch.

Dude, before you start bashing people who you have NO CLUE about, you should watch how you word things or you WILL get banned for being a DICK!! You came here to diagnose a symptom about your Dakota...hmmmmmm......I thought that this was a Durango Forum. For a person who just joined this Site a month ago, you got some big kahunas to start bashing people before even knowing who they are or how they contribute to this Forum. What have you contributed besides searching for answers and making rude assnine remarks, great start for a Newbie!

Please, On my '02 4.7L, The TPS is on the T body, drivers side. There are three sensors on the TBody I think I read elsewhere? #25 Torx. As simple as un-click, re-click?

Thanks
David
