RE: faster than 120mph
unless your trapping over 120mph, or are using your neon as a true 'race car' requiring those speeds, i think many will be reluctant to help you out on this.

RE: faster than 120mph
does the MP PCM just bump the limiter to 130? and the AF/x gets rid of it?

RE: faster than 120mph
the mopar ECU does eliminate the shut off, but a stock neon wont go hardly any faster anyway.
i hope your tires blow apart and youcrash if your just being a retard on the street.

There is a reason for the speed limiter.. Unless you have upgraded suspension, tires axles etc... I wouldnt try going past 120.. that woudl be just retarded.. Could you imagine doing 120 and have something like a tierod or A-arm break? Yeah, you might as well put your head between your knees and kiss your @ss goodbye

What about on an empty 4-lane highway, that doesn't seem so bad. I'll admit to putting my car over the 120mph barrier w/ the mopar pcm. Didn't seem scarry

RE: faster than 120mph
yes, i have had my srt4 up to between 155 & 160, but there is really no reason to. the car isnt capable of much more than 120 anyhow (w/o some modding it up). once in a while you might get up there though. personally i would work on making it get to lower speeds quicker. going that fast really is a danger to you and others.

and before you say to practice what i preach... recall the smoking doctor's advice to quit smoking
