is there any way to tell wheather or not the pcm in my car is the performance one, because it was an x-scca car that was raced and has all documents of work done but i dont have them here and i was wondering if there is anyway to tell
i also noticed on the t/b buterfly it says 8529 does that mean its a 52mm

 

If it's a Mopar pcm, it'll increase the rev limiter to 7400 on the Sohc and 7600 rpm on the Dohc.

 

if they didnt mess with it they have a sticker that says "Mopar Performance" on it

 

located on the underside of the pcm

 

i've seen a few on the top!


is that only for certain years?

 

not ure...all the ones ive seen were on the bottom
maybe the sticker comes with the pcm when new and you can put it wherever you want to

i remember seeing a red r/t on here a while back and it had it on the top
but then i went on eBay and found a 97 with the sticker on the bottom
