RE: 400hp
don't be to sure of yourself my friend has a s2000 with about 600hp on it he ispretty smart too.i respect alot of hondas that have way over 400hp.they could kill a neon with a turbo and srt-4's.so you can't call all hondas retards just the riced ones.i have also seen a417hp crx it took me by suprise first time i lost to a crx but he had a HUGEturbo and some nx but he upgraded the internals so i respect him alot for a crx owner.

RE: 400hp
with 350 hp in my car when its done, it should run mid to low 11's.....the weight of the car helps out alot...
but i also have almost $8000 in my car so far with only minor visual mods...
i was at autozone yesterday and these jack asses behind the counter were making fun of me for building up a neon.....
funny thing is that the guys said i should get sumthing that can get some power like a saturn or a cavalier[&o]
my question is why the hell would i do that??????
i mean ive seenall thesaturns and cavaliers that hahn racecraft has built, but i wasnt too impressed......
then the kid told me that when he gets his saturn done he will look me up and stomp my poor neon.....all i said was "yeah, i highly doubt that" and walked out the store...just thinking to myself.....just wait
so anyways, you can get alot of power out of a neon motor.....people just dont know it
you dont have to worry about as much about the rods breaking as you do the bearings......if you build a high hp neon make sure to change your oil every 1500 miles or so

RE: 400hp
Stage II: 171hp on 8psi??? considering that the kit cost $3395 too, not worth it at all.
im getting close to that with just a cai, tb, and header for goodness sake. (i hope at least) [8D]
At least with the Neon, we can spend under $3k and push about 275hp with the stage II kit on 8-10psi. Spend even less building the SRT-4 turbo system and we get more hp on top of that!!
huh, imagine that.
p.s. - i love having friends with V6's that are scared of my little econo four-banger. love it!
