You guys all can laugh but once I upload my dyno slip of both my car which is stockand my buddies stock DOHC then I will be laughin'

I have 10 years of expirence building Neon's for circle track and street racing I know somewhat of what I'm talking about.
Dude, We never really said it is impossible for you to have more horsepower and or torque, but there is no way an auto neon can keep up with a manual neon unless the automatic is seriously modded, not just an exhaust and pcm.

I actually meant for a Manual SOHC with the dohcpcm and Exhaust not the auto would have the best chance, only way the SOHC autohas a prayer is with a severe neutral to first launch and then you risk breaking CV Joints and your tranny.

This throttlebody spacer I made is about 3/4 of an inch high and it seems to have helped torque and high end alot, In my area theres alot of Hills in the city and when I floor the car it runs up the hills and keeps pulling, so far that was the biggest increase for me, it also seems to catch 5500 rpms quicker, 4800-5500 seemed stale before but now it seems very crisp. I had an extra intake and I cut the throttle body base off of that with a chop saw and I RTV'ed the F out of the TB base and threw it on the car (only mod needded was longer TBbolts)and so far the 20 minuteproject seems to have paid off pretty damn good especially when using the passing gear! Best part was Ididn't have to pay Jeg's$98 for one of theirs. I think my auto would have a better chance after this mod but more still needs to be done to help out those granny gears against a Dohc manual.

Now next performancemod I'm going to do is clean out my trunk!

Thats not a performance mod, but it is weight reduction.

i still dont believe any of this....obviously sumone just doesnt know how to drive

any of my stock dohc auto's would beat any stock sohc auto
i will leave the r/t out of this
When I floor my Auto SOHC at 25mph its gonna wax your DOHC each and every time up until about 92mph when the tranny shifts into 3rd gear. I was neck and neck with a newerSuburu 5 speed and that is the only car that has ever gave me a hard time from that launch speed. I put a spacer on my intake and now My high range has imporved 25%, it will actualy reach 6,000RPM and still feel like its pulling hard.

Stock for Stock a Auto SOHC (Neon Sport) gets 16.2 1/4 mile and the RT DOHC 5 speed gets a 15.9, a good driver will make up the difference in the SOHC. Hence flooring the car in neutral and doing the drop will give you a nice off the line advantage at risking your tranny but it can be done. Even with those times I'd still be on your Bumper so you win by less than a car length.

The PCM alone will make the race even and the exhaust will give me the edge. I'm buying a DOHC PCM today and its go time with any DOHC who thinks the SOHC is a push over. If I cleaned my trunk out it would look bad for the DOHC lol

1/8 1/4

1998 Dodge Neon R/T 7.5 15.9

1/8 1/4
1995 Dodge Neon Sport Coupe 8.0 16.2

http://www.albeedigital.com/supercou...0-60times.htmlfactory Stock 1/4 mile and 1/8 miletimes. (Scroll down to read the times)

This is just to funny i live in mn and if you wanna try and waste me in your SOHC just bring it cuz i know i will waste you. from your 25mph launch if i leave it in 2nd and punch it. it wont even be a race and i know this for a fact so stop trying to prove a fictional point and i know many other MTX drivers will verify thishave a nice day!
