I was really wanting a Iceman Cold Air set up but looks like I can't get it at Modern Performance anymore. Any other suggestions?Or suggestion of a different CAI?

Dumb question... Not to be confused with the above questions.

If I do something as in remove the egr valve, what will I gain or lose? (Ok thats not the dumb question)

Here it is. What about the CEL is it going to come on and stay on or is there a way to stop that?

Wow Use the search function. Type in 3.0 intake and you'll find a crap loads of cheapinfo, unless you want to spend 300 bones. Also use the search function to find your EGR and CELanswers. Trust me the search button works.

You could also read all the FAQ at the top of the forum page. LOTS OF INFORMATION!!!!! I get told to look there alot too.

 

Wow the search function does work. after sifting through several posts I think I figured out what I am looking for. Key word there is think. It was a good starting point to refine questions at certain pointsat least.

Edited: At first I wanted to know why you were on about a 3.0 intake until It clicked about what I had read in the FAQ. Thats a spiffy idea.

But it's cool I found what I wanted. And I really could care less about the 300 bucks. It's a bit minor when it comes to getting what you really want verses something else.

But the really dumb #@$ move I made was not exactly typing in a search for iceman cold air... Did that and found one for 230 bucks free shipping.

 

You do realize that you get the same performance out of the 3.0 Ghetto Intake, dont you?

 

i love my ghetto intake. so many of my buddys are like "what the hell is that?" me: "its my cold air intake" them: "does it work?"

 

Well youshould have looked some more. There are other sites out there besides this one. Ifound my Iceman CAI for 60 bucks w/ filter. The only thing isdidnt have was the battery tray, butwho needs that when my battery is relocated to the trunk. You could have spent the additional 150 bucks on some other performance parts, but to his own....

 

i agree if your going for cheap and good go with the 3.0 but like it's name it's ghetto i could not stand it so i got a iceman.
