Wouldn't the true def of difting would be
to help get through a turn at faster quicker speeds.
In which would apply to both fwd and rwd

i just think they don't get the respect most desirve....but most arn't moded to get sideways for a long time some can hold it for a quick sharp turn and some like that integra i saw could hold a slide almost like a rwd.....and skill is a BIG factor in any drift rwd of fwd

I can see your point and it even sounds like I am tring to talk myself into or out of (either way) that a fwd can drift.We know that the fwd will not drift sideways like that in a straight line. But on youtube they have video of them drifting in turns. And if it takes more skill shouldn't be drifting

heres the real reson me and allmost every one else i know still don't call allfwd cars fwddrifters because they can't keepone continuousslide for more then one corner...but the reason we lost the bet to the integra was because he did two witch made him win because he could take the s12 on the one corner turns but the integra was week(slowed down to much) in the two corner turns but the s12 could not keep up afterthe one corner turns(she wasn't skilled)......you might have noticed i call it fwd drifting and rwd drifting because they don't compair or i would just call it drifting...i don't think that if my friends where expirenced that they would have lost thats what happens when you put a 18 year old againts a 30 year old

long story short rwd can drift and do a hell of alot more things then a fwd can even halfly get done...make sence?
