Umm, a coil pack. Thats about it lol, I just dont want to spend $85 bucks on it at advance since im not sure it is the problem. How much money on top of a coil pack and a cam sensor would you let that go for?

do you have a random miss or what? chec and see if your crank sensor is cracked.
does it have roung terminalt of flat blade? i noticed theres a difference from 95-96 to 97+
heres a new one i discovered yesterday. a neon had one bad plug wire that was arcing down inside the valve cover causing both cylinders to drop on the same coil, and it was causing weak sprak on the other 2 cylinders.

No, no spark at all. I am not getting any input from the two wires from the computer, but I am getting 10.82 volts from the center green/orange wire. New harness, cam sensor, coil pack, replaced the pcm and did nothing so I took that back. It was running after I did the head gasket for a couple of days then I revved it up a couple of times in the driveway and it cut out around 4000 rpm. No spark after that. I took the crank sensor to auto zone to have them test it and they had no idea what in the hell they were doing. Nobody else has been able to help me (spud or das even!!) and I am getting pretty desperate. Oh and no key codes or codes with my scanner. Someone did say though that they have had a crank sensor go bad without a code, so I dunno. Then the only other thing left is the pcm again because I replaced it with a salvage yard one, but I doubt they were both bad in the same way. Oh and flat pins

Are you still looking for a crank Sensor??

Do you have anyone with a SnapOn MT2500 Scanner? you can run diagnostic all the way down to that particular sensor.

Yeah, the neon isn't my biggest priority right now, so I haven't really been too focused on getting a crank sensor for it. The only person I know with a Snap on scanner equivalent to that is at my dads shop down in Ft.Lauderdale and I am all the way up here in Ohio. Yeah and I don't think I will shovel out 2-6 grand for one either
