true....but then you have to figure out the cost differences......srt4 turbo compared to the whole motor/tranny swap right there is almost a $5,000 difference

 

im gettind all the stuff for the turbo for free off a stock srt my budy is upgrading everything and give me all the stock stuff so i can bolt it right up and his stock exhaust as well

 

how much hp would an SOHC have with a stock srt turbo??

you could always swap the head to a DOHC instead of the whole engine.

personally i perfer performance mods to the visual stuff, but thats just me.i wish you the best ofluck and make shuryou do alot ofresearch on your car.

 

ok first off....how much power you have with the srt4 turbo will depend on how much boost you plan on running........there are alot of posibilities when turboing a car......
mine should have about 350hp with the srt4 turbo.......i hope......

2nd, the only srt4 turbo parts that will work on your car is the turbo/manifold, intercooler, fuel injectors, and the exhaust (though it will take some customizing to fit properly)....otherwise there is a hell of alot of other stuff that needs to be done to have the srt4 turbo on your can

i still think it would be better to just turbo it....but im sure when im done with my stratus i'll be taking all neons with srt-4turbos and engines....that is with weight redux

 

my friend had a strat with srt turbo it was fast but then he got t-boned by an old lady and bent the sub frame

yeah he was gunna sell me that motor to for 150 $ the motor is shot now so we striped the turbo and everything noe he has a neon lol
