you can't super charge a neon

but really people are ****ing stupid


and the 2.4 isnt in any civic
the biggest i think is the 2.0 liter in the newer civics/civic hatches

Stock B16a is good for 375 to 400whp on a good tune... We won't even get into the 2.0l K20 motor. That would just embarrass us more.

If i wasn't so paranoid about it getting stolen, i would probably trade my neon project for a civic project. Plus a fast neon is not common here in Hawaii. 300+ whp civics are running all over this island never mind back home on the mainland where i used to live.

Whether or not you like civics or hondas, you have to give credit where credit is due.

well wat i really ment was that theres alot more choices for civics but ok ill play ur lil game. u can fix a honda with its stock 2.4 engine to get over 540 hp b4 nitrous. main cus off the comps and chip availible for them.
Wow you havnt heard about the650hp Neon SHOC engine or the DOHC 700hp? Quit bein' a fool, with enough money you can build any motor to almost any rating. My SOHC has been through hell and backwith me as a driver and the damn motor hasnt complained once, the only way your gonna blow the engine is by overheating or not checking oil EVER. Checkfluid levels often and you will NEVER HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THESE ENGINES.

This is a Neon/Dodge Forum so F U CK HONDA.

I beat them all the time in stock Neon form so who gives a dead mooses last **** how fast you can make a Civic if stock vs they get owned, Money determines how fast your car is and frankly the Neon's SOHC and DOHC engines are a better base for build up and allready are fast enough to own Civic's because Neon engines have more Torque, HP means **** Torque moves Cars, a balenced engine between torque and HP is what the Neon engines were about.

oohhhh my god a civic has no chance aginst a cobra . the guy is the mustang was probably doing the smart thing and letting off ......keep the racing on the track before someone gets killed for some stupid ****

You like Honda's so much why don't you join one of their ****ing forums? I'll take anything Mopar over that piece of **** Honda crap that blows up while trying to baby it.

Young one? excuse me but I know for a fact I've got underwear older than you. I have never once given my age.

Why are you even comparing those exotic Cars to Neon's?First of All those carshave more than 112lbs of Torque when your torque is as high as thoseyoudon't have to worry about moving a 2600lb car. TheCivic has 112lbs of Torque and 124hp while the Neon SOHC has 132hp and 131lbs of Torquecompare apples with apples you dumb ***.

Its obvious nothing sinks into that thick skull of yours, I'd rather have a "overall" more powerfull engine than an engine that is just all Horse Power and no Torque or all Torque and no HP, You need a somewhat evenbalence between the 2 factors to make a truely Superior Performance Engine and in overall performance the Neon Engine is Superior to the Honda. I think you should go back to school and learn about what Torque and Horse Power is, you obviously have no clue what those two do realative to each other.



You want to talk about an engine that will own the fk out of a Ferrari engine look no further than the factory 426 Race Hemi of 1966 on up to 1971 making 623hp and 638lbs of Torque which would kill the living **** out of a Ferrari or Lamborghini engine. I don't give a dead mooses last **** if a Honda can rev to 9,000 Rpm, it needs to with those small tires and its gearing all because it does't make enough Torque at managable RPM's. The Civics tires are smaller thantheNeons mostly to offset the difference in the lack of Torque from that piece of **** Japanese Engine.

Go suck my ***, I've been building Chryslerengines for over 15 years and I don't need some loser red neck trying to tell me how an engine works, you just proved how stupid you are by comapring a Ferrari to a Neon and Civic.
