i used some 4 gauge power wire and 4 gauge ground wire, battery clamps, marine battery box, and a power distribution block.....
take out the battery tray
cut the wires off the stock battery clamps and hook them to the distribution block
mount the battery box in the trunk
run the power wire from the new battery location to the distribution block up front
run the ground from the battery to a ground location in the trunk (i used the ground for the tail lights)
and thats all i did so far...

i can get pics if you want them

pics would be nice .. whats the purpose of puttin the battery in the trunk ... i was thinkin it would be easier to rig a 3.0 for sure , also dont you have to ventilate the trunk if u put the battery in there?

You may want to put in a fuse or a circuit breaker of at least 200 amps and about six inches from the battery and one under the hood. without them could short out and cause a fire or mess up alt

It just gives you more space under the hood. What would you need it vented for? It gets alot hotter under that hood than in the trunk even with the hood vented...

Because batteries can give off explosive gases

after i moved my battery to the trunk my car has trouble starting. i got 4 gauge wire going straight from the battery to the starter? so i don't see how it hesitates. once it starts it runs fine so what could be the problem.
