this is my first poll so if its messed up sorry...vut which motor would be better to get and easiest to put in...i havea SOHC....but i herd they were junk...sorry if i keep postin stupin stuff...but i really dont know and i want tha best....

SOHC's are fine motors. but the DOHC would be the easiest to swap. it all depends on what you want to do with it. SOHCs can also be cheaper to mod (least the head part, rest is even) but wont make the same power as the DOHC (but shouldn't be nothing major)

If you want to do go to DOHC, then just do a head swap. Sohc and dohc are the same blocks. Look it up in the 1st gen faq's. Im pretty sure there is something on that in there... As far as the Sohc being a bitch to work on, they are easier then dohc...

its bout even. and actually the SOHC is easier. less moving parts. plus if you take the head off you only have to worry about ONE cam. and not too.

i got a friend thats into carz...and dont kill me...but he drives a honda civic...and he swaped it wit a vtec...and he did tha swap...and he said he would help me...if i got tha srt-4 motor....
