Can we go one thread without hearing that dreaded pipe dream words "SRT-4" OMG.

The best all around Turbo is the T03 Garrett which is capable of providing up to 25psi of boost while providing consistent gains from idle to 6,500 Rpm+.

Garrett Turbo Vs Mitsubishi Pros and Cons

Mitsubishi Turbo Pro's-

Has extremely good spool time which ads to low end punch, Small easy to fit turbo.

Mitsubishi TurboCon's-

PowerFades out Rapidlyafter 4,500 Rpm and its pretty much up to your engine alone after that.

Garrett Pro's-

Unlike the Mitsubishi Turbo the GarrettIs very Consistent through the power band and never flat lines or stops pulling and will produce more overall and peakpower from your engine, Alsohas a well designed oiling and cooling system for longer life and roller bearings on its shaft. Even though it is quick at spooling and delivers usable power at 1500-3000Rpm, It is at 3500 Rpm+where you will thank yourself for going Garrett.
Garrett Con's-

None really! Except it isNot as quick as the Mitsubishi Turbo in initialspool time (more than makes up for it after 1500 Rpm) Note: Adding an intercooler and jacking the boost upto around 12psidoes reduce the lag quite a bit and nearly eliminates this problem.

the only reason i would say that is beacause if your going to get a garret it's not going to be cheap.

SRT4 stuff is cheaper and easyer to install.

i love my 16g, if you would get one, dont get a small or big 16g, or the chinese / tiawan GT or "super" 16g, get a REAL EVO III 16g. that turbo pushes DSM's well into the 11's. clipped and ported they will go alot farther than 4500 rpm, mine begins to drop off at about 7000... its all in your setup.
the T3 is more expensive but an awsome turbo for sure.
SRT4 turbo is a piece of crap in my book just because ofthe manifold and turbine housing being all one piece.
