I've got a 95 Neon and I swapped the sohc from a 97 to a 95 alls that I had to do is swap the sensors since the 95 is obd1 vs obd2 You shouldnt have a problem swapping Sohc heads.

I have a 95 head on my 96, so you can go the other way as well. All I had to change was the CTS.

Coolant temp sensor. It's on the driver's side of the head and it's easier to change it while the head is off the car.
