well i dont have money to get one right now what can I do to make this work anything i can make to raise it up maybe??? or can I make one i seen something bout getting a part from radio shack anybody know anything about that?

 

unless you get a map clamp or make one then there is nothing you can do to safetly drive the car

where is the turbo checklist at

 

i read somewere ( i dont remember were ) that the voltage output of our map sensors should be clamped at 5v? it was somethiing like a reading of 20lbs of vacume was like .5 volts and a reading of 0 vacume put out 5v or something and if it went into the boost side it would register more volts. when it sends more than 5v to the comp it freaks it out and leans the fuel to correct a problem.. so its like the map clamp keeps the computer from receiving more than 5v .... dont hold me to it but thats just what i read somewere .... and im not sure of the real voltage numbers or watever.
