hey spud had an idea as i was at work today... When you block off your egr valve. can you take off that purge selinoid and charcoal canister???? if so couldent you just use that line that goes from the charcoal canister to the fuel tank??? or is it a rubber line???
i removed my egr and the evap canister (thats where i reloacted my overflow tank too)...i just blocked my line off....
the line going to the canister is steel and then connects to a rubber line and runs into the top of the tank...
you could use that line, but i still wouldnt reccomend it.....if air gets in the return line then it will pressurize you fuel tank....

How would air get in if i would take off the rubber line that goes to the evap canister and replace it with some steel braided line and up to the fuel rail. I guess what im asking is how would this be different then getting a stock fuel line and running it back???

it wouldnt make a difference if you disconnected the line by the gas tank and ran it through the fuel pump housing.....
it would however make a difference if you kept the line how it is....connected to the vent in the top of the gas tank

so disconect the line at the tank and connect braided line to evap hard line to modded fuel canister so it cools the pump so it wont run dry...
