Supercharged ShowOff Whore.......:) 56kNO
alright, we all know that origanality is the name of the compact car game, how was urs to tune??? i have seen that hahn auto is making a turbo charger kit for the cobalt ss, proto type car was in a mag a while back... now my question is would it be possible to get a supercharger and a turbo hooked up and tuned on our 2.0s???? if so that would be unique as hell, but dont know if it is possible or not??? i am sure it is, just lots of money would be the key????
theres some cars... dont ask me witch i dont know all i know is that some cars acually use a supercharger to spool up a giant turbo....it really wouldent be that hard to do really it would basicly go tb to supercharger inlet---- supercharger outlet to huge *** freaken turbo inlet ---- huge *** freaking turbo charge pipe to intercooler inlet --- intercooler outlet to modified intake manifold. That would freaking rock... then you may be able to run something like this...

Yeah, but the ss colbolt is running a t3t4 so how would that work?? it is not that big of a turbo, but a supercharge would force air in and the turbo would force air out, so i think the prolblem would be getting them tuned correctly so they work with eachother and not fight each other and essentually loose alot of power???
There are alot of diff ways to twincharge. Easiest is the turbo blowing through the IC then blower.
You would still need to rig up an electric clutch to dis-engage the blower because it will over-rev and start causing a parasitic drag on the motor via the crank
^It however is a BIG waste of money, I looked into it. People twincharge to get a nice linear powerband and on a FWD car such an initial jump in torque down low is all but pointless if you cant get the power to the ground. In the end the only real cool side to being twincharged would be saying (my cars twincharged)......
Heres a cool pic of a twincharged set-up

Iam already fighting for traction from the big torque gain down low from this charger. "Roots" type blowers are a possitive displacement blower, meaning theyr torquey lil ****'s lol

love the car and the supercharger idea however i would contact your union aobut your poor woking conditions (no garage, No Jackstands) whats up with that?
