Its like calling a 91 Daytona with a 2.2 a Muscle car even in 12 second form, its a fast car but its not a muscle car. A muscle Carwas built withno other purpose but for speed even though they might have other nice features, oh and they died when Emission regulations became standard.
Any Car with Emission controls isn't a Muscle Car. I think the term your looking for with the newer Cameros is "Sports car".
