Fast, Cheap, Reliable, pick two becuase you wont get the third.

I have heard nothing but bad things from cheap ebay turbos. Mainly their manifolds crack. Even tho they may have a life time warrenty on the manifold. They will keep sending you one that will crack.

 

um...... Chrysler refused to accept that so they built the Neon

Garrett makes the T3/T4, so thats a damn good turbo no matter which way you slice it. Manifolds cracking? first of all I doubt it will, second of all do you think they like sending free manifolds out? if its got a lifetime warrenty the company must not want to lose money and also must stand by their products. plus turbo manifolds are not that hard to take off if it does crack. 30 minutes and your done manifold comes out very simple.

You can be my guest and pay hahn $1500 more for a non lifetimewarrenty manifold if you think theirs wont crack, .

 

well from my personal experience from ebay turbos..... THEY SUCK...... i put one on a kids 420a eclipse, non of the fittings were right, turbo was good quality, but that was about it..... for 1000 dollars i would say go for it.... u dont have much to loose, but expect to still be goin to the hardware store for stuff.....

you should see thekit he put togetherfor me, it rocks. the guy may be a little too enthusiastic over his sohc engines but he can put together a strong running set up pretty good and i thinki'm the 3rd one he's done so far. one of our mutual buddys has a 2003 sxt all pimped out and slash just helped him throw a 13gen mitsubishi turbo on his car and so far all 3 of our cars are running good and smoking cars 8x the cost of our neons insurance worth. me personaly have taken out a Cadilac with the 32valve Northstar 300hp Engine, all with my dohc 9psi turbo 5 speed sport neon. i have raced slashlast nightand we ran out of road before it was completly decided, i had him by 1 car lengthtill about 45mph when i had to shift and it was side by side till about 90mph when we both had to let off before we ran out of road. those atx are reallyslow off the line but don't miss a beat once they get going, in fact they gain alot of lostground backbecause they spendmostofthe racetime under boost.

monday when i go to the junk yard andget my biggerinjectors and run 12psi we'll see who wins.

yeah you could say that, he's not my best friend but we know eachother from buying and selling eachother a surplus of neonparts, he helped me do a timing belt on my dohc and he torqued my head down for me and we pretty much give eachother stuff or share stuff for our neons and go to the bar once in a while. ya he is a cool guy never had a issue with him, he turned me onto the dodge forum[8D]
