y do people in civics think there bad ***...even tho he would take my car....(for now)....i dont know anything on honda motors...so is tha vtec really that great...hes always sayin how great it is...is always hatin on my neon...(just wants me to make it faster than his...and whoop his ***) kinda really pisses me off tho...but r they really that good....

 

um there should be no reason a Honda should be a threat to a Neon unless its built. The most rediculous race I've ever tried and won was against a Civic.

even the 160hp version isn't much because its only got 100ft lbs of torque a chrysler 2.5 has 180ft lbs of torque and 150hp and is over all more powerful as is the Neon.

The best is to race the civic up a hill you win everytime and your lead looks like you just passed a grandma going 20mph.

Race him from a25mph roll, you'll have no problem beating him. remember just keep it floored dont let up it will shift. many people don't think the auto's are that fast, get on them and engage the kick down at 25-30mphand it will blow your mind how fast they can be

depending on what kind of honda it is, a 5-speed v-tech should smoke an auto neon

dude i hate dick people who have vtec.like yea they are faster off the lot but that says nothing.the pos civic was a 1.8L(i think)little crapper.so just take it in for now and build.btw i beat a vtec and its sad because they're way way lighter.
