Dodge neon lower end
So I changed my head gasket thinking that was bad. Nope. Still 15psi in #4. So I am in need of a rebuilt/lower mileage lower end. Is anyone willing to build one for me? I will pay them? and buy new parts
. I am just about done. I have fixed this thing for the last time. If i have to rebuild the lower end I will just crush it. Otherwise if someone has a short block for sale in good condition hit me up.

no you can not the bolts are tighted past there stretching point when there tightened.
and the mls headgasket melts a bit when you first install it, to seal the head to the block it only melts once

Okay so I pulled it apart. First question. The bearings were all in great shape. I plan to get the crank cleaned up at the shop? Is that right? Okay what about the lip on the top of the cylinder walls. Do I need to remove that? Will the new pistons rings hit that from the dohc pistons and mess it all up? I plan to use the plastigauge. Any other tips while I am in there?

this sucks.
