ok well you guys are all against scoops and stuff... but i got one today for 10 bucks i couldnt pass it up... and it will look 10 times better then what ive done now..look at the pics

but im pretty sure im gonna cut a hole in the hood and have the scoop come from the bottom so the seam around the edges doesnt show.. but i dont know '

and yes i realize its not that good looking but it will look better then it does now....

 

I think you need to explain that he dident get a dohc hood like i told him to for the 2.4 swap and all he had was a sohc hood and the cams hit really bad so he cut this god awful hole in the hood as seen in the first pic to clear the cams and now he just wants something a little better till he gets a dohc hood... lol lol lol

and its a dohc hood.. i might be interested sounds like a great deal... but im looking to get a new transmission and at this point im not 100% concerned with how it looks... (the synchros in my trans are going out and the vss contacting point in the trans is broken...)
