My race car will require 100 octane? What kind of car?

 

96 Dodge Neon SCCA EM SOLO car

2.0L DOHC Turbo, shooting for 300 ft-lbs of torque with 100 ft-lbs at 2500RPM (this has been done)to power the 275/35-15s im going to run

plus the turbo puts me into a class with a 1700 pound weight limit, compared to a NA setup that would put me in a class with a 1380 pound weight limit (not attainable in a neon)

 

You could run that setup on 87, at least I can.

can u put a 2.4 top end on a single? or should i swap the full 2.4 in my single

 

2.4 and 2.0 heads are the exact same head...

 

Dohc top end is not compatible with a sohc head at all.

 

The 2.0 and 2.4 DOHC head is exactly the same the only thing different on a 2.4 is the block is taller and the rods are taller.

2.0 sohc and dohc blocks are the same casting number!
