Default Mopar PCM (computer) questions

Im thinking about getting Zacks Mopar PCM from him but I have a question, Will my fans work seeing his pcm is a 96 and my Neon is a 98?

Also will bypassing the Torque Converter lockupgive really bad gas mileage? if so are there ways to make it so it comes on only when onthe highway automatically without aid from the pcm?

And is 89 octane enough to keep the Mopar pcm happy?

There is a way to put the lock up on a rpm window switch and a few other things... its the same thing the guys do to throw a mag intake on there cars... as for the 89 oct... hell no 91 and i still get detonation...

is the mopar pcm a good noticable upgrade? Is it worth it? I'm not looking for crazy power just good driveability with passengers.

No, they operate the fans differently unless you swap the pins.

Yes it will hurt gas milage. You need to either hook up a toggle switch to activate it or you can install a tranny cooler to help keep the transmission cooler.

Premium only.

Do you know what pins they are?

you will def feel a difference, and notice one. cars i raced b4 were now even further behind me. as for fuel, mimicing das, u gotta use high test, at least 92. i use sunoco 94 plus stp octane booster every 3rd fil up and i have no problems at all
