RE: needle re alignment
trial and error.
warm up the car to its full operating temp and slap the needle on were it points to normal.
either fill up the fuel tank, or remember how much fuel you have and slap the needle on there
Spedo is about the hardest. try your best to put it on 0 while the car is running. take a quick trip around the block and see if it seems right.
for the tachut needle on idle, I usualy put mine at 900rpm but it depends on your car.
there is no spefic order you have to do them in, but genarly i do the temp, fuel, and tach. then i work on the spedo.

RE: needle re alignment
so tried everything..thought at first the needles wear rubbing not that...sanded the bottoms of the needles down a bit didnt do anything like a little dry grease didnt do ****...i turn the car on when its warm all of the needles out...start with the temp gauge put that in...then the fuel gauge...then the tach..by car idles right aruond 1050rpms put that in place then put the speedo needle in at 0...turn the car off and the only gauge that drops is the tach the fuel and temp gauge stay in positon as if the car was on...am i just **** outta luck and should just buy another tach or can anyone help...and RPMS when going is very choppy not a smooth motion..and the speedo will increase in speed but will not drop back down to 0..does anyone have the slighest clue what to do?
