looking at my diagram it looks like one wire goes to the PCM (pin42) one ges to PCM (pin41) the plug looks like to goes to the + battery terminal and Volt Meter.

one goes to the power disrtubution center(PDC) then to the battery. This is the one that should be frying. The other two control the field current and that is controled by the Powetrain conrol module (PCM) and should not fry, if it does there could be a short or a problem with the PCM

heh that was english the one with the plug looks like it goes to the. . . ill upload the photo.

The red one could be bigger. the blue dot is the PDC and the green line is the PCM.

the volt meter is in the pic to show how to test for amps.

so could i just run a heavyer wire from the alt to the battery and just put a fuseable link in it?
