ok im not really familiar with cams what would happen if i put 2.4 cams in a 2.0 neon would i gain or lose power or nothing at all???

People who swap in 2.4 heads use 2.0 cams.

 

i new i hard it before but i wasnt sure if it was 2.4 in the 2.0 or 2.0 in the 2.4 thanks

 

Even some SRT-4 owners use 2.0 cams.

 

im thinken of buy a set of comp cam i was thinking 26's but im not really sure what would be the best i want to turbo it but ill probally never have the money so im gunna build a nice n/a neon anyone know whats the max hp you can make on a n/a neon?

 

N/A neon would be around ~200-~220HP. And thats with MAJOR work!

 

I got a N/A Neon, but I've done a lot of machine work to the motor and heads...bout $5000 worth of work...12.1:1 compression, I'm at 383 HP and 394 ft/lb w/ 126 Octang. No nitrous. Gotta say, for road racing...it's great...but if you want 1/4 mile time...go Turbo.

im gunna mostly do street racing my goal is to kill all these ******** around here with there mustangs that think there so great
