I should of been more clear. the ratings i gave were for a N/A setup. if you went with a Turbo then it would be cheaper. a SOHC on stock internals and on like 6psi of boost, i think its around 175HP.
ok well i've decided to jst fix all the problems with the sohc and jst keep it as my econobox further down the road i will just go out and get me a mint srt4 they are going for about 12 grand which isn't that bad with only 50xxx miles
so what should i get to make it " sound " nice not ricy jst nice i don't want a fartcan sound would an srt 4 original exhaust add a nice touch to it????
i have a 98 r/t with the block done right intake is ported, cams, pistons, rods all top stuff and im not done still need to do computer and a couple other mods but i pulled 279hp @ the whells on my last dyno im at about 4500. this includes the car. It can be done im only at 17 psi.

that sounds very interesting could you p.m the make of the cams , pistions etc. i'd really like to look into that cuz if that is the whole deal i wouldn't mind doing that. and 250 would be plenty for me.... thanks for letting me know about that, i'm going to look into the 2.0 swap and what other internals i can buy for it thanks for bringing light upon my question on the 2.0
