Lotta work just to get to the SRT brakes. Better pads would help like Hawk pads.

Remember, rears only do about 10-20% of the braking.

Well lots of people have SRT rims on their 1st gen, so not too different. SRT brakes have also been done.

But we do what we like to our own car

im sure with new rotors and brake pads that will be plenty enough braking power for the weight of this car. if you over kill on your brakes for such little weight it can work in a negitive way.

if you want some nice wheels, take a look around, SRT4 wheels are one of the most ugly wheels made. strive for something different. Go to a honda or nissan forum (hondatech/clubnico) look in their classifieds for some wheels. honda and nissan owners are much more into wheels than dodges, so youll have plenty of options, and most people will probably even help you pick out a set if you ask kindly.

good luck.

its only the internet, so no worries.

and I wasnt really reffering to how much power you will have, but to the point that the neon is a tin can and doesnt need much to stop. just to make a point. My S4 rightnow makes 400-450whp on K04s and vast fueling depending on what what gas I use, and after I go RS6s with rods and e85 I hope for 550whp. but what does anyof that matter, the car still weighs the same, I dont need bigger brakes. and I dont drive like an idiot, nor do I need to know how fast I can stop from 100.

I just think newer rotors/pads/lines/tires will get the job done. but goodluck

yes and i agree but they make big brakes for a reason no matter what after so much power you wanna step it up a big i mean im not goin to do brembo 6 pistons with 20inch rotors lol

Default My 2 cents

I have a 95 with 4 bolt rims and a 01, my son has a 05 SRT-4. The 95 could use a bit more breaking power. Now this is just my opinion but, I think 95 upgrade to the 5 bolt same as the 01 should be quite adequate. Upgrading to the SRT-4 breaks may be a bit of overkill and overly sensitive break pedal action.
