yup.. and yes it is good for a couplpe of hp too. your burning exhaust gases in cruise and at idle junks up the intake and bottom side of tb... not neded and you dont loose any mpg but maybe like 1mpg....

yes i think 24 pound injectors are all thats needed for e85.. e85 would shine with a cam and high compression e85 is around 111octane...

how does it junk up the intke when it aint open at idle? how much hp does yall need at cruise when yall aint demanding power and the car only uses like 30hp on just cruising along. i like egr cuz i my distrib cars i advance her up 5-6 deg get more wot power and better gas milage and egr keeps it from detonating which saves the moter. unless yall actualy run the car on the dyno yall aint got no proof about losing hp

I personally am not arguing the HP factor, but it will and does add soot to the TB and intake. Just another note, 2nd gen neon's don't have an EGR.

what does a egr do.. efectivly at cruiseing it opens up and makes the car run like its on 3 cylinders or run like a smaller engine.. suppose to help with mileage.. eliminating it does nothing to hurt performance.. and the systems are not perfect so they always leak a little bit.. especialy in boosted aplications were their islot of exhaust pressure wich would force it open.. hence why alot of turbo guys eliminate it(me included) blocking it off insurece it is always clsed better throttle responce. and cause the do have a tendencie to leak it is worth a couple of hp.. and if for not that alone.. how about a cleaner freeer flowing intake mani that is not all carboned up do to the egr being their... a dyno comparisionwoudnt be worth it as already stated you may only gain 1-2hp with it off wich may not be seen at the wheels even.. but throttle response shoudl be better and mani cleaner....
