Default 1997 neon help

As I hopped in my car to leave a store the other day my car did not want to go more than prob 1mph. Kinda bogging down etc..This lasted about a good half mile and then all of a sudden it drove fine again. My service engine soon light is on now.. This was 2 days ago and since then it has driven fine. Any ideas on what this could be?

Try flashing out the codes, that will haelp a lot. I can't link it right now, but it is in the general help section OBD I

12 is usually the first code, and nothing to worry about. 55 should be the last code. Nothing in between?

Ok- So what should I do about that. Bring it in or keep driving it. It has driven fine since the one episode..

reset the pcm, unhook the negative battery cable and wait about 5 - 10 min before hooking back up, it will clear all codes and then you will be able to see if your code comes up again or if it was just a fluke.
