Default '95 Ball joints

I've had a new set of ball joints for my '95 for about 3 months and finally got to getting them in. The old ones litterally fell out of the control arm when the clip was taken off, and the new ones are just as loose. Before I go back to the store (after probibly a few hours of serching for a receipt), are there different sizes of ball joints? Or are my control arms just that worn out? It's a '95 with the SOHC and a 5 speed, 5 bolt rims, and 307,000 kms. A well used machine.

If theyre cheapy's just weld em in until you can get new control arms. Just remember to flush all the old grease out with lots and lots of new grease cuz the grease thats in its going to get liquified. I had to do that on my dakota seeing as how control arms are discontinued through the dealer. No problems as of yet.

1995 was almost 16yrs ago. If you have not replaced your ball joints, the may be the originals. Bought MOOG ball joints off amazon.com for $45 for the pair. They the best.

I've got new ball joints, Moog as well, and I'm looking at a wrecker for a set of control arms. Does anyone know if all the first gen ones are the same?
