I have a 95 sohc dodge neon it didn't have a tach in it when I got it I bought an after market tach and I have all the wires figured out but the green on I've had people tell me to hook it to the middle wire on the coil pack but idk if that will work does anyone no where to hook it up?

Here are the wires to use:

Red wire = tach power
Blue wire = tach light
Green = tach (RPMs) splice this with the stock tach wire
Black = ground

Most 1995 Neons were prewired for having a tachometer. The wire goes into the blocks that plug into the back of the instrument panel.

 

Does it have a shift light with it? If so, you will need a tach adapter to go along with it.
