Gas mileage

Post what kind of gas mileage you get in your Neon and if its a SOHC or DOHC, I have the DOHC and get around 30-32mpg on average just curious what everyone else is getting.

97 SOHC 4dr. ATX w/ Flowmaster Exhaust, everything else is stock
28 mpg in the foothill area of California
35 in the Valley and Bay area

98 dohc...30mpg average...as long as i keep my foot outta the gas

99 DOHC - I get approx 9MPG - of course I am racing! Braking all the way down to about 30MPH and then accelerating to over 120MPH

01 SOHC Magnum - I don't race it yet - but it gets about 18 to 22MPG - but I do run it hard.

I get about the same as the other guys 30 to 32 but its kinda hard to get that when im having a little to much fun.

Wow I dont feel so bad now lol... My buddy used to have a 99 with the SOHC and got on average 36-40mpg but he babied it.. Im always on the gas with my car.

well mine seems to be giving approx 26-29 mpg . So i guess thats average for neon. After all its american made not jap.
