Im still kinda worried about it do you think there is any other alternative to the bag or bypass valve to prevent it?

I woulnd't worry...I have the Iceman and drive thru hard rains all the time with no problems. Just stay away from deep puddles.

like ive said before....if i can drive through hard rain and not have any problems then you can for sure

I trust you guys but what about a car wash with an underbody wash.
do you think that could do it?

Turn the car off, just to make sure. The filter would need to be sitting in a pool of water, with the engine running to suck up enough water.
