Im still kinda worried about it do you think there is any other alternative to the bag or bypass valve to prevent it?

I woulnd't worry...I have the Iceman and drive thru hard rains all the time with no problems. Just stay away from deep puddles.

if the filter is wet (soaked) when I start the car it wont hurt anything?
