in response to the first post, my stock neon stomps on civics, accords and escort Gt's all day on the race track, and i run right up the honda prelude's *** and always run out of laps to get around it, or catch it when he gets a half track lead, but im always gaining once i get out of traffic, dont say a neon doesnt have any potential to be quick for what it is, yes its an econo ****box and blows up fast, but they will hold their own in the right place, i honestly hate neons, thats why i chose to race one on a dirt circle track, whats more fun than destroying a car you cant stand and pickin up a few wins in the process
my car dont always run good, ive finished races clear at the back and won a few,

There are TONS of bad ***, yes I said it, BAD *** Neons out there... I guess you just haven't seen them...


My Neon gives me no headaches... But then again, I do have an 04...

 

only headache my neon gave me so far is when i spun out & hit the wall backwards at 70 MPH or so, lol

 

Then again, that could be driver error

 

when i clipped a semi at 90mph....my car kept me nice and safe.....except i did have some back pains....but it coulda been alot worse then it was.....now shes almost fixed up and running better then ever.....but still needs fenders......with the abuse i have put this car through, im shocked it still even runs, especially as good as it does

a stock EG Civic Si has only around 100lb of tq a stock highline sohc has what...129/130? with matching hp

i was driving with 2 other people in my car and this 99-00 Si was trying to race me and i was just ****in around with him and i was keeping up

rice rocket = NO TQ

i've beaten pleanty of cars that people that are SOOOO FAST
i've beaten a ****in GS with a cold air intake

if you like hondas so much
and think neons are "econoboxes"
which i see more hondas on the road as comuters than neons

then go get yourself a car with no tq
